Heroes in Harmony, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to expanding access to educational resources that support emotional well-being and personal development for underserved communities. We accomplish this through personalized books rooted in storytelling and structured self-reflection tools designed to foster resilience and self-understanding.

We believe emotional growth and self-awareness should be available to every individual, regardless of income, background, or life circumstances.

Mika Terry

Mika Terry

Founder & Executive Director

Mika Terry is the Founder and Executive Director of Heroes in Harmony, a nonprofit organization focused on expanding access to personalized reflective educational resources, technology-enabled educational accessibility, and individualized learning experiences for underserved communities.

Her work combines community-centered outreach, reflective learning frameworks, personalized educational resource development, and scalable technology-enabled systems designed to support self-understanding, resilience, educational engagement, and personal growth.

Mika earned an Associate degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. A graduate of Cass Technical High School in Detroit, she has been involved in computer programming and technology development since the sixth grade. She also served in the United States Navy as a Fire Controlman, a technical electronics and weapons systems role focused on advanced systems, troubleshooting, and operational precision.

She brings extensive experience in insurance, analytical problem-solving, operational systems, and claims recovery. She is also the creator of The Harmony Blueprint™, a personalized reflective learning framework designed to support self-understanding and growth through accessible, technology-enabled delivery.

Treasurer | Board Member

Reese Davis is an administrative executive with extensive experience in financial operations, organization management, and administrative leadership. Her strong background in finance and attention to detail provide valuable financial oversight and support as Heroes in Harmony continues to grow.

As Treasurer, Reese helps ensure responsible financial practices, transparency, and long-term sustainability. Her professionalism, organizational skill, and strategic mindset support the mission and integrity of the organization.

Dana Baskerville

Dana Baskerville

Secretary | Board Member

Dana Baskerville is a dedicated educator with more than 23 years of experience working with students, including extensive work supporting special needs students. Her career reflects a deep commitment to education, compassion, mentorship, and helping young people reach their full potential.

As Secretary, Dana supports Heroes in Harmony through strong communication, organization, and a shared commitment to empowering individuals and communities through accessible self-development resources.

Roosevelt McCombs Sr.

Roosevelt McCombs Sr.

Board Member

Roosevelt McCombs Sr. is a retired United States Air Force veteran and retired Michigan Corrections Officer with a lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and community support.

As a devoted father and active member of the veteran community, including the Veterans of Foreign Wars, his leadership and life experience bring valuable perspective to the mission of Heroes in Harmony.

Dr. Camille Williams is a Doctor of Behavioral Health and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with extensive experience supporting neurodivergent and neuro-expansive individuals.

Her background in behavioral health, education, and individualized support helps Heroes in Harmony create inclusive environments where people feel seen, supported, and valued.

Gilbert Morgan II brings more than 15 years of healthcare and business development experience across the medical and veterinary industries. He is known for leadership, relationship building, training, and helping organizations grow through collaboration.
